Hell's teeth! I've had quinsy. It ain't a nice thing! Can't remember right now what I prescribed myself [coz it came up fast and I didn't really have time to grab an appointment with my homeopath, so I did a DIY]. It wasn't merc-i-f ... which just goes to prove that the remedy is different per person, right?

As Dr Margery Blackie says 'the patient not the cure' - every case of the same named disease is differently expressed in every patient. For good homeopathic prescribing, read the pathophysiology books then put them aside to listen to the patient and how their body individually expresses the malady to guide you to the right remedy. Meanwhile, glad you made it through your quinsy @sallylloyd. The world would be a poorer place without your voice.
