India's public health expenditure - 1% of gross domestic product(GDP) - may have witnessed a marginal improvement from 0.98% in 2014 but it's still spending less than some of its neighbour countries like Nepal(1.1%) and Bhutan(2.5%),according to the annual report released by the central Bureau of Health Intelligence.

We can only hope this expense needs to increase as it is more important concern than anything in country.

Sort:

in india the govt is not increasing any heath facilities as per need ,They are doing only paper work other than nothing done by the any govt up to date

Ya,we cannot blame just government for it,there are lot of people involved in particular agency because of which facility is not reached to every common people.

this expense must increase as their is no more purity left in any of eatable items. So govt. must aware about it and take necessary steps for this.

There should be increase in health expenditure. Specially in rural areas day by day medicines are getting on higher price and poor don't have any option than to die. Indian government should think on it and should learn from it's neighbour.
