Being a Chemical Engineer, I am aware of the harmful effects of certain chemicals, being used in products, on our skin/hair/body over a period of time.
This post is not to promote any skin care or hair products or to prevent any one using such products available in the market. When it comes to skin care or hair products , often it what inside that counts.
If you want to go the sustainable way, check these ingredients before buying/using the products.
Artificial Frangrances - These are skin irritants and can make your skin sensitive.
Mineral Oil - Can clog pores. Creams that combine mineral oil and paraffin can damage the skin barrier.

Sodium Lauryl Sulphate - Should be avoided for people having sensitive skin. Sulphate may also clog pores and cause acne, irritation to eyes, skin.
