HEMORRHOIDS WHAT ARE THEY? WHAT ARE THESE SWELLS THAT APPEAR AROUND YOUR ANUS? HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE?

Here is a brief of my testimony, It had been 3 days since i last used the toilet, on the fourth day I went to the latrine for a long call and in having bowel movement I found myself straining myself pushing stools(faeces) out of my anus, the more i pushed the more painful it become and the stools that came out where so hard and dry and this called a lot of pain and few minutes later i realized there swellings around my anus(big swellings)which covered the hole where stool pushes in the anus with these swellings which i had no idea about brought a lot of pain, irritation and discomfort. The pain was so painful that there was no position i would sit either stand that would cool this pain and adding to that each time i felt like using the toilet i would not for fear of pushing stools yet the anus hole was swollen with these swells.
until i visited the hospital that i found out this condition is called hemorrhoids which most people have them or have felt them but had no idea its called hemorrhoids and where and how it comes all about.
This condition is caused by many factors one of which is constipation, (constipation in simple term is having difficulty having bowel movement, straining yourself push stools). Therefore how does one acquire constipation that is by eating less of fiber diets that is vegetables, fruits e.t.c, taking less amount of water per day, taking long without going to the toilet like 4 days on wards, straining yourself pushing stools,constant diarrhea to mention a few, all these will cause constipation hence hemorrhoids.
So the first thing i was told to do to ease this pain was to sit on a warm salty water (20mins) because this eases the pain and reduces on the sizes of the hemorrhoid swells and also placing ice around the swollen and improving on eating high fiber diets and water consumption(8 glasses a day).

So what is hemorrhoids? In my own definition hemorrhoids are swollen veins around your anal canal (anus). It comes as a result of straining while having bowel movement( increased pressure in the veins). There basically two types one called internal hemorrhoids and the other external hemorrhoids. Internal hemorrhoids develops from the inside the anus whereas external hemorrhoids develops from the outside but you can also have both at ago. A few of the signs may include pain, swells, irrational, bleed clots in the stools e.t.c.

Therefore as a former victim of this condition may advice are please drink plenty of water in a day and consume a lot of high fiber diets e.g avocado, fruits, bananas, vegetables e.t.c reason being these fiber diets will endeavor your stool to be soft so when you go to the toilet the stool will be soft and also when you feel the urge of going to the toilet please don't resist go as soon as you feel the urge because if you wait for bowel movement and the urge goes away your stool will become dry and harden the next time you go and ease yourself.
