in #health7 years ago

Pregnant or not, drinking water is very important to be healthy. But when you are pregnant, your body needs more water to cope up with the changes in your body. It is vital to keep your body hydrated and prevent cramps. Dehydration could lead to host of other complications.Mild cramping throughout nine months is common, unless, it is accompanied with bleeding or severe stomach pain. Your body changes drastically to make room for the growing baby. As your uterus expands, the muscles and ligaments which are supporting the uterus also stretch. Especially in your second trimester, the round ligament supporting the growing uterus can cause sharp, stabbing pain in your lower abdomen. These sharp pains and dull aches can sometimes be mistaken for contractions. According to American Pregnancy Association, other reasons for cramps are bloating, gas, and constipation![IMG_20170912_092031.jpg](
