PLACENTA PREVIA

We all know what placenta is all about. It is a cord that connects a pregnant woman with the baby in her womb.

Now you may ask, what is placenta privia?
This is when the placenta covers the Mother's cervix.

Those who have placenta privia always bleed during their pregnancy. Please if this happens, visit your doctor to avoid stories that touches the heart.

Those that can experience this placenta privia are those that have scars in the uterus due to surgery, either cesarean section or fibroid removal. It can also happen to those women who have more than one fetus, women that are 35years and above, smokers and women who take hard drugs and cocaine.

Women who have placenta privia should avoid doing hard work such as- squatting, jumping, douching, running etc. All they need to do is to always relax their body.

Please pregnant women should be very careful with their pregnancy. Avoid hard work and incase you notice any bleeding, please don't hesitate to visit your doctor. God will always be your strength.
