Health | Men can we have multiorgasms?

The question: Is it possible for men to have multiple orgasms or are we a phenomenon of a single exhibition?

The expert: Ava Cadell, PH.D, sexologist from Los Angeles and author of the book NeuroLoveology; The Power to Mindful Love & Sex.

The verdict: Yes, yes it can! But it involves knowing (and feeling) the difference between 1) orgasm 2) ejaculation.

"Orgasm is part of the sexual experience that occurs between two and seven seconds before ejaculation. It combines an increase in full body sensitivity, acceleration of breathing and a wave of sensations along the scrotum and the penis, "says Cadell. "Ejaculation is the final step of this stimulation and corresponds to the release of semen, as well as the neurotransmitters that will send the body to a state of" rest and recuperation ", or the refractory period".

And, as you know, once you reach the refractory period, you're out ... at least for a moment. That's why becoming multi-orgasmic means greater pleasure for both: you can last longer and when you reach your highest point, it will be stronger than ever.

Although it is not known exactly how many orgasms a man can have before ejaculation, Cadell says that during his Master and Jhonson studies (on which the Showtime Masters of Sex program is based), they found that a man can achieve up to three orgasms in 10 minutes.

How to achieve it? As soon as you feel you get to the "point without return" (you know, ejaculation) squeezes the pubococcygeus muscle, the same one that is used to stop the flow of urine. If you have good timing (everything is about trial and error), you can stop the ejaculation but still feel the experience of orgasm in all its glory.

Then it's just a matter of repeating ... and repeating ... and repeating.
