She was fired from her job cause of heart disease and came up with a genius knowledge marketplace

Many times, life makes us come across such inevitable events leaving us hopeless. People have such terrible financial or health issues that it is rare for people find a beacon of light in such times of despair and still manage to move forward and make something of themselves.

Such is a story of Yael; a woman in her thirties that has a congenital heart defect. 

She was independent and was able to work in an office but with the option to leave early or miss work day for the need to do a routine check-up due to her heart condition.

She was the bread earner of her family and even with health issues she was working so that she could make ends meet.

For her routine examinations, Yael left early every next week. At such times when the issue is as serious as your heart, you expect people to understand and show empathy.

But this was not the case for her. 

Being extremely insensitive of her condition and failing to accommodate her for leaving early few times a month, her boss fired her.

This was a terrible time for Yael. With a heart condition and a family to support, she had no idea what to do and where to go. She set off to look for another job. She went for interviews hoping to get employed so that she and her family may be able to live comfortably. 

But frustration and disappointment were all that Yael got. Hearing of her heart disease, no one would hire her. What will become of her family was all she could think of.

But Yael was a talented, hardworking and driven woman. She thought of other people with illnesses and disabilities who failed to get a job and were dependent on others. 

Yael had become tired of the drill every other day to go out and work. She wanted such a job where she could work from home and did not have to invest anything and had no compulsion of degrees or diplomas, but no such luck.

But she did not lose hope; Yael had quite an idea. She decided to start a website where all people like her with some disability or condition without any certification or degrees could work from the comfort of their home and market whatever skill and knowledge they possess. 

Yael wanted to manifest such a possibility of job which could be carried out from any time and any place. And all you needed was a computer. 

Her dream did come true. And now, she happens to be the proud founder of koocam.com which enables people to share their knowledge and earn from it.

Yael is an example that no matter what lives throws at you, you never give up. She hopes to become an inspiration for those who were rejected due to some disability or health issues. Her message to all people like her is that they are the only one who can control their lives and do whatever they set their mind to do.
