Curd - my favorite food item

Curd is my favorite food item. But being asthmatic, I can’t take it on a daily basis. If you are not an asthmatic, you can include curd in your daily diet because it can help you prevent several diseases. 

Curd is a good source of probiotics (good bacteria) which not only kills harmful bacteria, but also spread good bacteria which improves digestion process. If you are suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome, then eat curd regularly. It can relief the symptoms. 

Curd offers you calcium which is very essential thing for your body to reduce the release of cortisol, a hormone, which produces more fat around your stomach area. It means overweight people can also eat curd regularly. 

Curd increases the number of good bacteria in your intestine which not only kills germs, but also improves your immune system.  If you also want to prevent yeast infections, then include curd in your diet as it is capable to prevent them.  

The presence of calcium and phosphorous in your body can increase the strength of bones and teeth and also speed up their growth. So, if you want to get both of them, you should include curd in your daily diet. You have heard about arthritis and osteoporosis diseases. Both of them can be prevented with the intake of curd.  

You have also heard about coronary disease which can be fatal or life threatening. The risk of coronary disease increases, if the amount of cholesterol escalates in your blood.  However, intake of curd can help in improving the condition. Curd is capable to control the cholesterol level which mainly causes coronary disease.
