A must read for MEN!
Hey, you GUYS! If you don't take care of your skin because you thought it's a "girl thing" , you clearly have a misconception about it.
Several men do not use skincare because they think they are too masculine for that because we have been so fed up with the society saying that skincares are only for women because they need to be beautiful to attract men. And that is something to be blamed at the society for spreading misconceptions to the MEN in this WORLD.
But let me tell you some facts about men!
• Because they are less likely to keep an eye on their skin, they are more at risk of having an advanced melanoma requiring radical treatment. Statistics show more than 50 percent of the current annual melanoma deaths in the U.S. are white men, 50 years and older. But what is melanoma? According to google it is a tumor of melanin-forming cells, typically a malignant tumor associated with skin cancer. So medically saying it is a cancer of the skin which is the most dangerous form of cancer of the skin.
• According to a 2012 study, men with a healthy skin color are more attractive to women than those with a masculine face. Researchers pointed out it was “healthy” skin that was most attractive. So,you better wash that dirty skin with a good cleanser if you want be more attractive to girls.
• Men are typically out in the elements more than women, subjecting their skin to more UV rays, environmental pollution, wind damage, and other factors that causes our skin to age faster than the normal process,produce more wrinkles and pigmentation. For example in a tropical country like the Philippines it is summer now men are always up for adventure under the sun without the concern of getting the harmful effects of being over-exposed in the sun.
For all these facts that I have pointed out maybe I was able to convince you to reconsider the need to take care of your skin. The point to all of this is that skin health matters to everyone not just for women but to everybody who has skin, obviously. :)
