No, you must make new account on chat. It's simple.

Did you sign up there? You must do that first. You don't log in there with your Steemit password. You can have same name.
yes signed up, But when logging on, "Wrong user name or password" ?
Obviously you are typing something wrong. Probably there wasnt re-type password on sign-up,so you by error typed some letter wrong. Just make another account using different mail.
