Is weight loss medicine actually the best alternative?
One of the major modern health problems is our weight. Having a focus on healthy, long life and keeping control of our own lives starts with keeping an eye on your body.
Doctors and corporations are not the ones that will take care of you and save you from obesity and health problems!
Obesity has been growing year after year and there seems to be no signs of better!
Medical corporations are developing new weight loss medicines to help us to overcome our obesity. They are going in for the markets and trying to make a big buck from peoples suffering.
They aren't the only ones though, as there are loads of scammers in the world promising to have the magical trick to get rid of extra weight.
There is no magic trick to get slim
I've gone through material for following weight loss medicines:
- Orlistat
- Liraglutide
- Metformin
as they are quite common weight loss medicines prescribed by doctors or found in drug stores.
On average the weight loss on the trial diet added with the medication was 8-9% of body weight per year!
This is real weight loss, however as always, changing to a regular diet and ending the medication use can gain back the lost weight.
Comparing to other methods of losing weight
To reach the same goal you'd have to eat 250 kcal less daily. That's around one sandwich
You could lose same amount of weight by eating one sandwich less per day, as long as your current diet isn't causing weight gain and you don't replace the single sandwich with anything else!
Do you want to eat extra drugs for ONE YEAR or leave out a sandwich?
It's easy for doctors to hand out more drugs than to make it simple and clear which are the most typical, useless calorie bombs in our lives
Even having a high caffeine green tea filled diet (supplements or high amount of green tea daily) can give 1% weight loss and helps to maintain weight after diet, also reducing belly fat more efficiently.
No need to take medicines, as you can leave a bit of empty calories off your food and get some green tea to get stronger effects than weight loss medication
If your stomach and bowel can handle it, just add a bit of chili along with it and you'll be losing even more weight without medication.
Even if the weight loss medicine can give you positive results, it takes only minor life changes to get better results cheaper and with less side effects
Weight loss medicine can cause different kinds of negative reactions, including stomach problems, diarrhea, stomach cramps, depression, breathing problems, nausea, vomiting, sleeping problems... List goes on
And these are not even the rare side effects but common ones!
If you aim for healthier life, leave out weight loss medicine and stop pumping money to corporations.
You can do better without giving them power over your body
Taking care of yourself starts from small steps.
Losing weight can reduce risks for a multitude of health problems, starting from type II diabetes and cardiovascular diseases!
We need to take care of ourselves as the corporations aren't doing it.

That's true mate. Fat burning supplements doesn't work for everyone. I personally don't recommend to anyone. The only way to stay fit is making healthy food choices and workout. Be it gym, cardio, sprinting, swimming, etc. Really loved your post. :)

I think weight loss medicine as a way people are trying to fool themselves, while avoiding to do big choices to actualy improve their lives. For some reason we see change as a bad thing.
I don't know... I prefer doing exercises and eating well. This way I feel satisfied.
