Health campaigns take fizz out of sugary drinks

Children have crop on syrupy drinks by a 3rd over the past decade as messages promoting healthy consumption finally go.

Young people are consumption less sugar overall and fewer saturated fat, in step with official knowledge. However, diets stay unhealthy, with too few vegetables and an excessive amount of sugar and fat.

Public Health England (PHE) told food corporations to chop calories in their product by a fifth this month, and ministers ar considering curbs on food ads and promotional deals on cakes and biscuits. 2 thirds of adults and a 3rd of kids ar overweight.
