Porn is a result of a lost "soul", i.e. consciousness who is lacking self-love and self-respect, both in those that create it, and those that watch it. It degenerates consciousness to low consciousness base carnal hedonistic tendencies of focusing on the pleasure trap by seeking fulfillment in "feeling good". So many people don't get this at all...

Yes, porn is the result of (and cause) of degenerated consciousness. I believe this also. It is something that has really flown under the radar as an issue until very recently and even so, it's taking people a great deal to wake up to as people still use the excuse that watching porn is 'natural'. I'm not sure how it is natural to see hundreds of couples having sex every week but this is the excuse of denial being used.
I personally stopped watching porn over a month ago and it has made a huge difference in my life. It's all about self control and focus - how can a consciousness evolve if it gives in to carnal desires every time they emerge? Thanks for the upvote, have a great day.
Yeah, some people don't get it. I have never, in my teenage years, partaken in conversations about sex, pussy, cock, and whatever stupidity. I always viewed it as lower. I got into watching it for masturbation self-gratification pleasure trap "feeling good", but always felt something wrong about it, something not right. Even though I was unaware of why, it's a deep core feeling and recognition about it not being right. We should not indulge in base low consciousness modalities like this just because it "feels-good". I have also recently gotten rid of this lower consciousness manifestation in my life (10 months now). The Pleasure Trap and attachment to "feel-good" stimulation is powerful in life. It's something that's so easy to give into, because it "feels good". This applies to many things in life,like drugs and alcohol.
I can't disagree more. "Base carnal hedonism" is the pursuit of transcendent states that are no less valid than those achieved through asceticism.
