Oh does it sound horrific? I had to go look it up and "lurgy" originally came from the Goon show.

Well, it has been uncharacteristically rainy here. And right now it is muggy, I'm not interested in getting out in the woods and sweating my arse off, so hopefully it will cool down some, or at least dry out some. Think I need to head to my parent's house for a dip in the lake ;)
I never actually clicked with the Goon Show. Well, apart from the Ying Tong song, and even then half of it's probably enough
I was much more of a Monty Python gal. The Dead Parrot sketch is a classic - the first 3.5 mins anyway
No, sweating your arse off in some muggy woods sounds like a big of a slog - a dip in the lake sounds better, even if it is still raining.
