I love seeing females squat heavy and move past the belief system of "light weight to tone muscles."

Don't forget to go all the way down to parallel on those squats though! There's also strong evidence that supports removing the Manta Ray/cushioned squat pad in order to improve your form. The guys out at Mind Pump did a great Youtube video about it. Check it out!

heavy? 65 pounds?

Yep! "Heavy" is relative with the lifters capability... I've seen newbies to the weight room max out at 5 reps with just the bar. Just because it's not 300 pounds doesn't mean it's not heavy to them.
