Does the Dentist cause Cancer???

The profession of Dentistry is only a new one in the grand scheme of things. My Great Grandfather who lived in Northern England was actually a dentist and he needed very little academic prowess to acheive this role. Before dentistry he was a butcher so this pretty much qualified him I would say.  

Does this brutal profession exaserbate or potentially even cause Cancer? 

A recent study of 300 women with breast cancer showed 93% of them had Root Canal surgery at some time in their lives.

Wow!

This by no means proves a direct link between the two things but it is a very interesting fact.

I write this article because you or someone you love may be faced with this decision some day, to Canal or not..

I am personally glad that I made the decision 5 years ago to not go ahead with the 'routine procedure', deciding to treat my abscess using herbal medicine, but these are the stories that you never hear about. The dentist was literally yelling at me in the dentist chair to come in the following week. However I understand that my health is in my hands only! With this new age of the internet and all of the information in the world at our fingertips we should very rarely give our health away to anyone in a white coat. After all they are just practicing in their PRACTICE.
