Life of a paramedic – Introduction

Hey Steemians,

since I’m relatively new on Steemit, I have asked myself what topics I could blog about to share some of my experiences and show interested users something, they don’t know yet. After some thoughts, I got to the conclusion that many people are interested in medicine and health. Unfortunately, I’m not a doctor yet, but as a paramedic you are also bound to get in touch with illnesses, diseases, medics, emergencies and lots of other interesting stuff. So I would like to provide you with some insights into my (almost) everyday work plus give advice on how to behave in certain situations. What are the advantages and disadvantages of working as a paramedic? What’s it like to be called to an emergency? How to behave when you notice somebody could suffer a stroke?
