On this international tea day....
Tea is the most popular beverage in the whole world.
15th December of every year is Celebrated as International tea day globally.
This day is celebrated by the tea grower countries like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Indonesia, India, Kenya etc. And the main intention for the celebration is to draw attention of the governments and citizens of the world which can impact the global trade of tea.
On this international tea day, we will see some herbal tea recepies-
You can have them as hot or iced preparations.
- Lemon tea
Add lemon grass in the preparation of the tea and required amount and type of sweetener.
It gives refreshing feel and benefits of vitamin C.
- Peppermint tea
Add leaves of peppermint in your tea that will reduce heart burn and respiratory problems.
- Lavender tea
It calms digestive system, improves sleep and helps people with depression.
Combine lavender with any type of mint and add lemon and sweetener of your choice.
- Green tea
Green tea is fully loaded with antioxidants.
It helps reduce weight if taken without milk and sugar.
- Elaichi (Cardamom) tea
This is the perfect flavour for any season whether it may be a hot summer.
This type of milk tea will give you soothing feel and specially if taken with a company of your loved one.

Personally,this is my favorite type of tea.
Indian tea masala is made up of various types of spices like cinnamon, cardamom, clove, black pepper, dried ginger, nutmeg etc.
I add mint leaves also..
You need to add this mix of spiced while preparing milk tea with or without sugar.
Believe me, it gives a dose of refreshment after a tiresome day and gives you energy to work.
