Liver Cleansing Foods
We all know that the most worked and abused organ in the body is the liver. It is on call day in day out. Without proper diet and some sort of discipline, the liver can and will become over taxed and eventually fail.
There are apparently more and more occurrences of liver disease nowadays than ever before. Below I have put together a brief list of several liver cleansing foods to help you regenerate and cleanse your liver.
Although it is the most worked and abused organ, the liver has the ability to regenerate fairly quickly and even regrow itself. Many patients with liver cirrhosis or cancer have been able to grow their liver after an operation to remove a piece of their liver.
The human body is incredible, actually miraculous. If we give it what it needs, it will pay us back for the rest of our days.

- Garlic
- Grapefruit
- Beets
- Carrots
- Green tea
- Leafy greens (those are vegetables of course)
- Avocados
- Apples
- Olive oil
- Cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, Brussel sprouts...)
- Lemons/Limes
- Walnuts
- Cabbage
- Turmeric
- Artichokes
- Asparagus
- Kale
Remember, go organic when you can.
