Why exercise is so important
It is scientifically proven that exercise lowers anxiety and reduces the risk of depression, and yet very few of us take advantage of this knowledge. Have you ever heard the common saying “I have never regretted a workout” this is because when we engage in physical activity our body releases chemicals called endorphins such as dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin, which creates a positive feeling and reduces stress. It is estimated that a person should exercise at least for 30 minutes a day, how many people achieve this target? This could be due to the busy lifestyles in modern society but the harsh reality is that we all have 30 minutes to exercise but yet we don’t choose to, which is a fatal mistake to not only our physical health but also our mental health. If relief from stress, an increase in energy, and an improved body image does not make you motivated to exercise daily I don’t know what will. Hope you enjoyed this post.
