Great post man! However, I don't think superfoods are actually a hype, is more a lifestyle kind of thing. Many people nowadays consume them for the huge benefits they provide for your health as well as for the vitamins and minerals they carry. For example, as far as I am concerned, coconut oil, or as we call it in spanish, "aceite de coco", is incredible due to its MCT and their saturated fats acting as quick energy. In fact, they are being sold even at the supermarket, it's crazy!
