Thanking others is one of the best acts we can do, in the same way, feeling good because others thank you a good gesture is one of those sensations that make you get goose bumps, you feel an emotion and a current all over your body that you can't control.
As a doctor, as a surgeon and as a professional I have experienced many of these sensations, I have experienced difficult moments like moments of joy to see my patients saved, you feel in some way how that person with a sincere "thank you" changes your day.

Agradecer a los demás es uno de los mejores actos que podemos hacer, de la misma manera, sentirse bien porque los demás te agradecen un buen gesto es una de esas sensaciones que te ponen la piel de gallina, sientes una emoción y una corriente por todo tu cuerpo que no puedes controlar.
Como médico, como cirujano y como profesional he experimentado muchas de estas sensaciones, he experimentado momentos difíciles como momentos de alegría al ver a mis pacientes salvados, sientes de alguna manera cómo esa persona con un sincero "gracias" cambia tu día.
From the street
At the end of everything, one ends up getting to know the patient and developing a bond of friendship with a lot of solidarity, that is how I present most of the cases of my patients, because although for some they are just "patients", for me they have names and they are people who like us should be treated as people.
A few days ago, I wanted to do something different, outside the walls of my hospital, where people in a sea of asphalt and buildings try to survive in the thousands of ways, from the most needy to those who break the laws of common life. More and more Venezuelans are finding themselves in this desperate situation, it is not easy to interpret the reason behind each story, but something important is that some of them are trying to shine their talents outside the mental limitations that we have.
Near where I live with my girlfriend every afternoon we see a juggler stand at the red light to give a mini-show to children and adults for that short period of time. With great skill he always manages to throw controlled throws of various objects in his hand, usually tennis balls, there, under the deafening traffic of the city, under the intermittent horns of the cars, the noise of the pedestrians, the sirens of ambulances and the engine of dozens of motorcycles during each stop.
De la calle
Al final de todo, uno termina conociendo al paciente y desarrollando un vínculo de amistad con mucha solidaridad, así es como presento la mayoría de los casos de mis pacientes, porque aunque para algunos son sólo "pacientes", para mí tienen nombres y son personas que como nosotros deben ser tratadas como tal.
Hace pocos días quería hacer algo diferente, fuera de las paredes de mi hospital, donde la gente en un mar de asfalto y edificios trata de sobrevivir de miles de maneras, desde los más necesitados hasta los que rompen las leyes de la vida común. Cada vez más venezolanos se encuentran en esta situación desesperada, no es fácil interpretar la razón detrás de cada historia, pero algo importante es que algunos de ellos están tratando de brillar sus talentos fuera de las limitaciones mentales que tenemos.
Cerca de donde vivo con mi novia todas las tardes vemos a un malabarista pararse en el semáforo en rojo para dar un mini-show a niños y adultos durante ese corto período de tiempo. Con gran destreza siempre logra lanzar en la mano tiros controlados de diversos objetos, generalmente pelotas de tenis, allí, bajo el tráfico ensordecedor de la ciudad, bajo las bocinas intermitentes de los coches, el ruido de los peatones, las sirenas de las ambulancias y el motor de decenas de motocicletas durante cada parada.
The red light
After each act, he goes for the last 10 to 15 seconds of traffic light stop time to collect some kind of alms, and this during the rest of the afternoon every day, with the same old dirty clothes, torn shoes, but yes, with the enthusiasm to give everything and thanks to everyone who offers him something in return.
What is most striking is that when you see him you realize that he is not just anyone, because his features and movements are of a special person, for many doctors even someone with a description of some kind of "disability"(far from the truth), but with more encouragement to continue fighting than any ordinary person I know.
One day, after a lot of effort at Steemit I got the support of important people with a big heart, "whales" is a term to define their "capacity" to help others, as well as mine to help patients through their great contribution.
Linda and Adam are just two names of people I know in this sea of solidarity, I don't know their professions or the lives they have behind these computer screens that link us, like many of you. However, your support is felt in my life as it is in the lives of my patients, so I wanted to perform a very similar act on behalf of everyone.
Yesterday I visited that boy again but this time with something in my hands, a gift I would never forget, something different from what people are used to making, a new pair of trousers and a new shirt with the Steemit brand everywhere. Even our cat "Sora" was very happy from the moment we were going to deliver him.
La luz roja
Después de cada acto, pasa los últimos 10 a 15 segundos del semáforo para recoger algún tipo de limosna, y esto durante el resto de la tarde todos los días, con la misma ropa sucia, los mismos zapatos rotos, pero sí, con el entusiasmo de darlo todo y agradecer a todos los que le ofrecen algo a cambio.
Lo más llamativo es que cuando lo ves te das cuenta de que no es cualquiera, porque sus rasgos y movimientos son de una persona especial, para muchos médicos incluso alguien con una descripción de algún tipo de "discapacidad"(bastante lejos de la realidad), sino con más aliento para seguir luchando que cualquier persona ordinaria que conozco.
Un día, después de mucho esfuerzo en Steemit conseguí el apoyo de gente importante con un gran corazón, "ballenas" es un término para definir su "capacidad" para ayudar a los demás, así como la mía para ayudar a los pacientes a través de su gran contribución.
Linda y Adam son sólo dos nombres de personas que conozco en este mar de solidaridad, no conozco sus profesiones o las vidas que tienen detrás de estas pantallas de ordenador que nos vinculan, al igual que muchos de ustedes. Sin embargo, su apoyo se siente en mi vida como se siente en la vida de mis pacientes, así que quise realizar un acto muy similar en nombre de todos.
Ayer visité de nuevo a ese chico, pero esta vez con algo en las manos, un regalo que nunca olvidaría, algo diferente a lo que la gente está acostumbrada a hacer, un nuevo par de pantalones y una nueva camisa con la marca Steemit en todas partes. Incluso nuestra gata "Sora" estaba muy contenta desde el momento en que íbamos a entregarlo.
The moment
At 3:30pm on May 19, 2018 we greeted him again and with great eyes he approached us receiving this gift, he felt a great emotion at the moment of receiving it and I will not deny it, I was also very excited when I saw it in his hands....
And so, as they did and they do with me all united in Steemit: two people who have never met him, who don't know where we came from, we made a different gesture, I can't deny it, he feels very good, and I'm sure it's the same feeling we all have when we support other Steemit works... *** somewhere in the world, behind these screens.***
Finally, it would be a great job for me to reward their gestures with gestures to others through additional help behind the walls of my hospital, so I have had the idea of supporting other needy communities with a new name, a charity foundation that many in discord have expressed their great interest in, I finally owe a special dedication in this post to the great contributors to this project that I am gradually building: @canadian-coconut and @ausbitbank, people with a heart bigger than their own chest, supported by the always great @aggroed and from now on the inclusion of one more friend: @lrd, to whom I owe a gift for his warm welcome and his confidence with solidarity. El Momento
A las 3:30 de la tarde del 19 de mayo de 2018 lo volvimos a saludar y con grandes ojos se acercó a nosotros recibiendo este regalo, sintió una gran emoción a la hora de recibirlo y no lo voy a negar, también me emocioné mucho cuando lo vi en sus manos.....
Y así, como hicieron y hacen conmigo todos unidos en Steemit: dos personas que nunca ha conocido él, que no sabe de dónde venimos, le hicimos un gesto diferente, no puedo negarlo, se siente muy bien, y estoy seguro de que es la misma sensación que debemos tener todos cuando apoyamos otros trabajos de Steemit... en algún lugar del mundo, detrás de estas pantallas.
