How old an egg is?? Easy formula to check it....
So by this formula you can check how much is the age of the egg after laying:
Take some water in a bowl and put egg in it, then observe following results.
- If it lay down on bowl straight, then it is fresh.
- If you see little uplift from back side of egg, then it is 1 week old.
- If egg is upside down, with pointed end downward, then it is 2-3 weeks old.
- If egg is floating on the surface of water, then it is very old, It should be rejected.
