RE: How to Obliterate a Cold/Flu Before it Starts

in #health7 years ago

These are three practices that I recommend as well. Your methods are slightly different and I will definitely try them your way!

For a bath with fresh ginger root that isn't too messy, pound the root with a mallet to break the rind, then drop it in a pot of water, then boil for 15 minutes. After that, use a strainer or a mesh scoop to remove all ginger "shrapnel" from the pot. Block your bathtub drain and pour the water in the tub. Add more water to adjust the temperature and bring the level up. Then soak! This is, paradoxically, both soothing-relaxing and stimulating-energizing.

Sometimes called shrubs, drinkable vinegars (with various fruit flavors, turmeric, et cetera added) are available for those who hate the taste of ACV uncut. Also you have the option of swallowing vinegar pills.

The peroxide ear treatment was recommended to me by a physician in the 1970s. He vouched for its antimicrobial effects. The method he gave me was to mix the peroxide with warm water, put it in a squeeze bulb, and squirt it into the ear gently over a sink before draining the ear onto a towel. Sometimes this washes a nasty combination of earwax and infected biomass out of the ear and into the sink.

I'm wary of making specific structure and function claims like flu prevention, yet I have found that these practices coincide, in my experience, with rapid recovery.
