The Pros And Cons Of Lucid Dreaming
In my last post I have already addressed lucid dreams.
But what are the benefits? and are there disadvantages too?
Benefits:
In a lucid dream, you can practice certain movement sequences. For example, if you are learning a new sport, you can also learn it in a dream. Many athletes use this method.
You can also promote your creativity in a lucid dream. In this way, some artists come up with new ideas.
But personal fears and phobias can also be fought in a lucid dream. If you are afraid of talking to a large crowd, you can do that in the lucid dream and repeat it a few times. After a time, the brain only combines good experiences with it and the fear is defeated.
With the phobia, that's the same thing. If you overcome them in a dream a few times, you will also do it in real life.
There are many other benefits. They all promote personal development.
Disadvantages:
The negative effects are not properly researched. Our brain works in a lucid dreaming similar to the waking state. However, it is not known whether the natural rain ration phase is interrupted during lucid dreaming.
I advise anxious, mentally charged or mentally ill people to start experiments with lucid dreams. There are people who have claimed that they woke up, could not move and encountered demons. It's up to everyone to believe whether this is true
