I quitt cold turkey. Maybe if you quitt slowly over 1- 2 years, tapering down will be more easy than cold turkey.

But dont know if one would be able to sustain for exame only 25mg caffeine over a long periode of time and if this will be helpfull at all. Than going down to 5- 10mg maybe over a year or longer and your body will adapt to those micro dosage.
