There is a lot of reason to keep charcoal at home
But I've personally tested this 3 uses and it works fine
★ Exfoliate and remove toxic from your skin and hair: grind some charcoal into a smooth powder, mix it with little lemon or lime juice then add it to your soap (African black soap or melted soap base) or shampoo.
You will be amazed with the result
★ Add the smooth powder to your toothpaste

★Cure soar soup or stew: this use of charcoal has saved me some cost several times
When your soup or stew get sour what next to do?
Waste it? No don't
To cure the soup
It's simple as ABC
Depending on the quantity of the soup get a charcoal (punch size or less)
wash the charcoal very well to avoid change of your soup color then put it in the soup, warm on a low heat
Note: live the charcoal until the taste of the soup is back to normal then you can remove it
Try this and thank me later
Pls add more uses in the comment

It's actually a good alternative to toothpaste! Grind a reasonable quantity of dried egg shells along with charcoal to powder. Brush your teeth regularly with this and you will be amazed with the result.
Thanks will try it out @dechair
