Get rid of your teflon pan!
Teflon is a product of Monsanto, ad when pans are coated with this chemical, they release mind numbing poison into the food you cook. what you really want is to toss your teflon pans out the window and use cast iron, ceramic or glass cookware only.
Choice is yours but I don't use teflon pans anymore.

The best pans to get would be what ancient civilizations used. Sterling Silver with a Copper core. They are way to expensive with how people value these materials now a days though.
Stainless steel is a good alternative if seasoned correctly to prevent contamination of heavy metals in the food.
