A good sleep is one of the important components of our health. It "reboots" the brain and helps the body to recover. But the modern pace of life, bad habits and health problems often prevent a person from getting a good night's sleep. Lack of sleep not only makes you feel "broken" all day, but also provokes depression, increases the risk of heart disease, digestive system and other disruptions in the body.

So do not force yourself to get used to the poor quality of sleep. But do not rush to grab at the hypnotic and sedative drugs: they can be addictive and have undesirable side effects. It is better to use the healing properties of nature. It has long been known that many plants help to improve sleep. Herbs can be brewed, taken in baths and inhaled their fragrance. Consider some of the herbs for a good sleep.


VALERIAN


Infusions and extract of valerian is a known soothing agent that takes on nervous excitement and insomnia. It helps to fall asleep, makes sleep calm.

To make a "sleeping" tea with valerian, a tablespoon of chopped root should be poured a glass of boiled cold water. Allow to infuse for 7-8 hours, strain. Take this infusion on a tablespoon three times a day, and just before bed.


CHAMOMILE


To solve problems with sleep use a decoction and infusion inflorescences of chamomile, as well as chamomile oil in aromatherapy.

For the preparation of chamomile tea, you can use ready-made pharmacy tea in sachets or collected in nature dried grass. It is enough to drink a glass of warm tea a day.

Brew a tablespoon of motherwort in a glass of boiling water and let it brew in a warm place. Then you need to strain the infusion and drink twice a day - at 18-19 hours and before going to bed.


MINT

TIMYAN (CHABRETS)


Thyme has long been used to treat insomnia, especially those that have arisen from overwork, mental or physical exhaustion.

To prepare a soft sleeping pills from thyme, brew one tablespoon of dry grass with a glass of boiling water and let it rest for an hour. Take 1-2 tablespoon infusion three times a day. By the way, this drink has a restorative effect on the body.

If the thyme grass is added to the pillow, it will also help to make the sleep sound, calm and conducive to pleasant dreams.

Thyme is not recommended for pregnant women and those who suffer from gastritis.

Combinations of medicinal plants are also used to improve the quality of sleep. To make tea from a hypnotic mixture, take one piece of motherwort and cones of hops, two pieces of mint, a herb of thyme, oregano. Pour boiling water (one glass on a tablespoon of the mixture). Drink insisted 3-4 hours and drink half the glass at night.
