The Power of God's Healing Hand

I have always been interested in seeing the Holy Spirit move in a crowd and heal people's ailments. Having suffered from a very obnoxious skin condition myself since childhood, I have asked for healing on many occasions. I've not seen any results from that per se, but always have hope that one day it will just vanish and I can praise God for his good works. I have much to be thankful for anyway, but to be healed would give me that much more gratitude to God.

The only times I hear of healing are anecdotal. Someone has experienced healing themselves, or someone they know was healed of some terrible illness with a full recovery! It seems that these healings are happening all over the place and all of the time, but where am I that I don't see or experience them? It makes me wonder if there's something I am doing wrong, or if my faith is lacking. I do not feel those things to be true, but if not, then where is the healing in my life.

God has done many wonderful works in my life and has transformed my mind and emotional state many times and on many levels, but physical healing seems to elude me. Have you had any healings happen to you? If so, what do you think helped to facilitate that healing?

Many scriptures say that all we need to do is believe on him and ask and it will be given to us. I believe and I pray, but see no results just yet.
