Two plug-type models
Audio Technica is the next company to offer "real wireless" headphones, we learn from The Verge. The manufacturer presented two such models during the IFA 2018.

The first one, the ATH-CKR7TW, is designed for optimal sound performance. The model includes specially tuned 11mm speakers and carbon-coated diaphragm and other elements to achieve accurate sound reproduction. According to the company, the built-in batteries offer up to 6 hours of stamina, and there is an additional battery in the charging cradle, which can give up to 9 hours.

The headphones use Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity technology and support aptX, AAC and SBC codecs. The ATH-CKR7TW should fit perfectly into the ear thanks to the 3D nozzle. When placed in the ear, they look a little different than other familiar models. Their sale starts in autumn with a price of 249 Euros in black and gray.

The second model is aimed at consumers engaged in various sports and fitness activities. ATH-SPORT7TW have IPX5 certification for sweat durability and external sound transfer mode. The battery life is only 3.5 hours with up to 16 hours of charging from the box. The price of the headphones is 199 Euro and will also be available in black and gray.
