Haunted ruin castle, let me tell you an horrific story...

An horor story in this ex-castle :

"The terrible curse of Queen Jeanne would explain for some the successive misfortunes of Roccasparvièra.

During the Christmas of 1357, in her stronghold of Roccasparvièra, Queen Jeanne attended the midnight Mass in the church of the neighboring village of Coaraze.

She left her two children to their nurse and the chaplain who had been taken ill to taste the wines of New Year's Eve.

Along the way, Queen Jeanne was seized with a presentiment accentuated by the croaking of a sombre flight of crows that seemed to repeat: "The Queen goes to mass, when she comes back she will find table setting! ".

On her return to the castle, the queen discovered a horrible spectacle: the drunken chaplain, the nurse lying in the pile and on the table of the feast, lying on a plate, the naked bodies of the poor children with a large knife planted in the chest .

Mademoiselle of grief, Queen Jeanne set out again on the morrow towards Naples, after setting fire to the castle.

On the way to Coaraze she turned towards the rock of Roccasparvièra and uttered this terrible curse: "Bloody rocks, malignant rocks, a day will come when your rocks will not sing any more either the cock or the hen."

Since then, the spell has come true."
