If it is true and not a nightmare

Today I have five extremely scary and mysterious stories for you that are really true. They have all been confirmed by the police and have happened the way I tell it here.

The strange shadows

This story is about a child who wakes up in the middle of the night and notices a strange shadow in the room. The longer the small boy looked at the shadow, the more intense it perceived a smell in the room. The smell reminded him of cat urine. After a while, the shadow disappeared and the boy could fall asleep again. But only until he was woken up by a metal-sounding scratch and saw a shadowy creature standing in the corner of his room. The creature watched the child. The small boy screamed that she should disappear. It worked. The creature actually disappeared. Immediately after she disappeared, the boy left his bedroom, noting how a second shadow creature manifested in the room. The frightened boy spent the rest of the night in his parents' bed. The next morning he told his older brother about the creatures. His brother looked startled and told him that he also saw these creatures. Both had experienced exactly the same. After some time, the creatures did not show up anymore. Nobody knows why and no one can say if they will return someday.

The unknown girl

After the parents of a little girl divorced, she lives alternately some time with her mother and some time with his father. As it is the case with children of divorced parents. One day, the father went to bed very early after working long hours. In the middle of the night, he woke up and noticed something. He saw his daughter standing in the doorway. He started talking to her. Asked her why she is awake. Told her that she should go back to bed. The girl said nothing. Just watched him until she left. The father assumed that she had returned to her bed and thought nothing more about it. A short time later, he decided to go to the toilet. On the way back to the bedroom, he passed his daughter's room and peered inside. He noticed something strange. His daughter was not present, her bed was unused. Suddenly, an icy goose bump crawled over his back. He remembered that his daughter was staying with her mother this week. He never found out who was the girl who had been standing in the doorway, staring at him.

The burglar

A woman living alone was awakened by a noise in the middle of the night. She heard footsteps and was sure that someone had broken into her house. Frightened she reached for her smartphone and hid in a corner of the bedroom. Exactly where she could not be seen when someone opened the bedroom door and looked into the room. short time later, the door was opened and a man shouted, "Are you in here?" The woman remained calm and did not answer him. After a short while, the man said "Does not matter" and closed the door. The woman waited for a while until she heard nothing more. Then she called the police. The cops did not take long, a few minutes later a patrol car stopped at their door. The woman still assumed that it had been a normal burglary. But after the police had searched the house, one of the officers asked her a question that froze her blood. The policeman asked who lives in the basement. As it turned out, the burglar had been living in her basement for several weeks. The police found a sleeping bag, food and cigarette butts there. The burglar was never found.

The hidden chamber

A girl lived with her grandma and an aunt in a very old house. All three sometimes heard strange noises that seemed to come out of the walls. They assumed that rats or mice had nested in and initially searched the outside of the house for holes or other clues. When they found nothing, they suspected that the mouse-holes were possibly in the house and began moving all the furniture away from the walls. A sofa, the TV and finally a very big, old closet. They discovered a door that was just so large that a child could walk through it. Behind the door they found a tiny room whose walls were covered with scratch marks. In the middle of the room stood a chair. On and beside the chair lay the bones of a small child. In this way, an extremely cruel and bizarre crime has been solved, which had more than twenty years ago happened in this house. After the bones were removed from the house, the scratching in the walls fell silent forever.

The clown in the bedroom

A family from Chicago hired a babysitter to take care of their child while they were at a party. After the young woman had put the baby to bed, she called her parents and asked if she could turn on the TV in the master bedroom. There she wanted to watch a movie without waking the baby. The parents did not mind. Why should they? The father was about to hang up when the babysitter asked him another question. The young woman asked if she could hang a blanket over the big clown statue in the bedroom because she was somehow scared of that figure. The father became quiet. The babysitter asked several times if he was still on the phone. The father then ordered her to take the baby and get out of the house as soon as possible. The family had never owned a clown statue, certainly not a life-size one. What the babysitter had discovered in the bedroom was a long-sought serial killer.
