When Harris was interviewed by Bret Baier, she kept repeating, "I followed the law." and "I will follow the law."

That was never an answer to any of the damn questions.

I was recently in a debate with a fucktard about Minnesota's Duty to Die law. Surely enough, the guy cited the law, and made the case that Blevins violated the law. I never contested that. My point was that the law is fucking stupid.

People should not get away with responses like this. Especially people running for political power, who are going to have influence over the law, should not be allowed to get away with this bullshit.

I've met a woman, in person, who spent thirty years in prison -- more time than the two murderers I've met, and more than most rapists -- because she dropped off a dime bag of meth when she was seventeen. Mandatory minimum sentence -- thirty years to life. Should I accept anybody involved with that case saying, "I followed the law."?

No, fuck that. Change the fucking law. You're a fucking lawmaker. You're running for a position that will allow you to veto laws.

The only branch of government that has the excuse of "I followed the law, even though it was dumb and I disagreed with it." is the judicial. That's what they're supposed to do. They aren't supposed to make laws. They're supposed to interpret and enforce the law. It's laudable when the judicial branch follows the law.

If you're a lawmaker, that's not a fucking excuse.
