I don't like the "upvote lockout"
Well hardfork on its way so I take now a habit of checking the code (since well that is the only place you actually have proper updates...).
So I stumble on the upvote lockout change.
Long story short: no one can upvote post just before the 30-day payout to maximize their rewards. I saw that behaviour some months ago and it was pretty effective from what I can see.
I am far from understanding all the logic of Steemit
Specially this hardfork Keept It Simple Silly(KISS) I could add And Secure Silly(KISSa$$).
So the so-called lock will be changed from 1 minute to 12 hour but the downvote are not locked. (For more details)[https://github.com/steemit/steem/issues/900].
I am no witness to have a voice
and maybe I really don't understand everything, but all those changes get me more and more, hmm, uneasy.
Let's put some Bruno Mars and forget about all of that.
