Happy Whiskey Wednesday Post: Inspired by the recently returned to us @nonameslefttouse!
I was minding my own business, scrolling through posts, when I happened upon...Duck Fat.
Yes, you read that right. Duck Fat.
See this post:

And in this post I happened upon something AMAZING
.Actually, I happened upon a few cool things, like duck fat,
but in the comment section is where I found...
Steemit's Theme Song!
Don't believe me? Read these lyrics:
"If you come down to the river, bet you gonna find some people who live. You don't have to worry, cause you have no money, people on the river are happy to give."
YEAHHH!
Wait, I think he said it better...
WOOOOO
NOTE: His comment sections are a hoot. Go to the post ;)
If this happens to be the first time you've stumbled upon a Happy Whiskey Wednesday post, here is the backstory:
Once upon a time a group of friends of mine on social media (when facebook was in its fledgling stages) started the tradition of Happy Whiskey Wednesday as a way of bringing some fun to the middle of a work week. It was our own cyber happy hour...s.
We would post kick-ass, upbeat songs to one another; we even turned it into a contest at one point as to who could bring the most fun and excitement to the party. Often the hilarity would go on into the night, with dozens of ridiculous pictures (and comments of course) added to the mix.
So if you feel the urge please do join in the fun, either by making your own post or posting down below in the comments with videos or anecdotes, or really anything that floats your boats!
Hello dear friend @dreemit, I hope you enjoy your day Wednesday whiskey, I used to drink it, (Whiscola) or the rocks, but for more than 20 years I do not taste a single glass, now that winter begins in my country, I am looking forward to buying a Chivas Regal 12 years.
The music is very beautiful, as a young man I was sounding of many bands that made cover of this subject, and I have seen several times to rain on a sunny day.
Here in my province when it happens the elderly superstitious people say that when it rains and it is sunny because the devil is getting married, for that reason the sky cries. Things of my ancestors.
That you continue enjoying your day
Chivas is my brother's favorite whiskey! I have to admit, I am much more inclined to drink micro-brewed beer than whiskey. I will have a small shot of it, but my body doesn't like liquor very much ;)
Thank you my sweet friend @jlufer!
hi dreemit. I am sorry that this a bit off topic but how can we talk a bit. i want to create a small logo and i want to ask you some directions. can you join here too https://discord.gg/2rmtwGy. We can enhance our building effort etc on there. i will be able to dm you on there
I can step in there :) just point me to the place since I'm not very frequent :) see you in a day :) but I'm working on my own projects at the moment and logo is what I'm doing, so far I have made a few and I going to make a few more, so one won't be a problem :D all steem related so far :)
Really great but where do i contact you. Lemme leave you a message on discord!
Hi terry! Sorry, when you wrote this I was fast asleep :) I'm not sure how much help I could be with something like this though, logos are difficult to make and I have no skill with graphic design. My internet has trouble with discord, I can type in it if that's what you're asking, but the voice part of it constantly disconnects. I'm also in steemit chat if you wanted to talk to me there :)
There I go again! Being all inspiring n'shit... :)
WOOOO...overkill? DUCK FAT. You just can't overkill that. Or wasabi peas.
Ya know... I somehow missed these comments today. Probably got a bit of Duck Fat stuck in my notifications again.
Yeah, there has been some definite glitches in that department. I keep checking replies throughout the day because of it.
Maybe if those ducks quit eating my wasabi peas...
I originally did the brackets on the link, but then I realized that the title of the post is appealing, and I said duck fat enough times, lol.
Me tonight:
Awesome! There's a local distillery here called Myers that makes a really fine Rye Whiskey :)
