So lately many peoples or patients are asking about Hollywood smile and how this smile works and  

how it's gonna look after all and what it's used for (so when i talk about aesthetic dentistry it's one of

 my hottest topics) to answer such a question i'm gonna make simple to you and to all reader to understand 

so let get started

1 :- what is laminate veneers ?

laminates veneers are thin shell of porcelain that is bonded to front (Labial) surface of teeth 

They generally take about 0.5 mm from Enamel surface which means 0.5 mm preparation to tooth surface is needed like the picture below (the picture is magnified to show how tooth is prepared)

2 :- What kind of problems that laminate veneers treat ?

it can treat many problems related to teeth including discoloration , diastema ,  repair minor cracks on teeth 

make color change for teeth and it's not s substitute for Orthodontic 

so i'm gonna put an example for every one them separately 

 - discoloration (the patient was really satisfied with the result)

 software that allows dentist to realize the digital project of aesthetical smile rehabilitation through simple and automatic tools

4:- what is the disadvantages of laminates veneers ?

-high cost of veneers

-chipping and removing of sound tooth structure (but if replaced well it will substitute lost part )

-it's not the best treatment for misaligned tooth
