"What is Happiness For Me"

Being with the less-fortunate kids means happiness for me.
Feeding and teaching them fulfilled me weekly.
They are not related to me but I so love them
Pleasure is helping them will all the best that I can.

Their community is the most slum I have ever been.
But it didn't stop me of my effort of helping.
I still go there to meet them every week.
To give them hope and to nourish the weak.

Volunteerism has given me genuine happiness.
My heart already belongs to these awesome kids.
I know that bright tomorrow is waiting for
them.
And I am more than happy to see them always smiling.

Their hugs and kisses for me are all worth the sacrifices.
Like giving them time and to get up early during weekends.
I came to realise that I am more than lucky
And giving back through them is worthy and I'm happy.

p.s. The non-government organisation that I am helping is Project Pearls.
They provide feeding and scholarship program to the hundreds of kids living in slum.
