The edge (Lgbt) Love can push you of the edge.
My dear bianca
You consume my heart and my every thought, but yet, I want to be consumed more by you. The dreams we have will keep us warm. But the first kiss is when life will begin.
From Monica

It always happened to her, Every time, always. Every time she will give her heart to someone and they will shatter it. They take her love for granted, they treat her like a fool, they use her and when they are done they leave because she is poor. Because she didn't have an empire to her name.
She wished she was born in an aristocratic family like them but wishes were not horses.
Bianca is used to this. It always happens, so now she expects it and waits for it like one waiting for labour pains.
You would think she wouldn't feel the pain again by now, but no, she did. It hurt. It still hurts every time it happened every time someone leaves, a part of her goes with them leaving a space a vacuum to be filled, a space where she had forgotten to love herself.
She was nobody after all, only a poor struggling maid trying to pay for her college fees
This was however only temporary, the pain, the poverty, all of it was only temporary. Soon she will become a lawyer, soon she will be rich, soon all her dreams will come true. Soon. All she had was hope and she won't let it go.
She was lying in the middle of her bed in the staffs quarter, her eyes closed and her mind open. Like every other made in the Dangote mansion she had her own room.
They were the richest men in African and the house lived up to the title. Even maids had levels.
Her room was not that big but it was enough for her maybe, because she was never used to luxury. In fact to her the maids room was luxury.
She had all she needed in here, she had a fan, a dressing table, a wardrobe, reading table and bed. She couldn't be more thankful.
She imagined what it would be like to be loved truly. Not like the love of Daniel that didn't stand the test of time.
To be loved fairly. Not a love that melted like the candle when given a little fire. She wanted a love that could stand the test of time. A love that could walk in and out of fire untouched.
A love that could survive in hell.
Chapter 2
All shades of love

Her thought was cut short when the bell rang Indicating a meeting for the maids. She wondered what could be wrong now. What her bosses wanted to say or who they wanted to relinquish of her duties, she hoped she wasn't the one though.
Bianca quickly stood up and adjusted her uniform, she was tall and slim. She looked at herself in the mirror and loved the way she looked. Although she had eye bags from Lack of sleep caused from excessive reading alined to being a Law student, she still looked OK. And the aim wasn't to look fine as a Maid but OK.
She felt like she wasn't living truly, like herself. But there was a time for everything and soon she will live. If only she knew how soon.
As she walked out the door to the parlour of the maids quarters she saw that she was already late as other workers were lined up. Quickening her pace she started to jog not really paying attention to where she was going. That was a big mistake as she found her self stumbling and hitting her bosses daughter causing her to drop her phone.
Monica was not finding today good at all. She found herself growing sadder Everyday that passes. She might have all the money in the world and respect but she didn't have what she wanted the most, love.
She had always loved Bianca from the first day she set her eyes on her but her love was impossible. She was a Muslim, a Christian and a Nigerian and being a lesbian was unheard of, forbidden. Am abomination. The worst sin.
She had never fallen in love before even though she was twenty three and at the prime of her youth. She had never had a boyfriend, neither had she ever kissed. And she didn't violate herself in anyway, it was safe to say she was living a sexless life in all ramifications.
Boys fell on her feet, worshipped her, begged, pleaded for her to accept them but she had never taken a liken to any boy even when she tried to.
Although, she was close to Hassan and people thought they were dating she never really saw him as anything more than a friend and a confidant.
She never thought herself capable of emotions, to her love was not for her. That was until she met Bianca who right now was standing in front of her looking scared.
Funny enough, she too was scared. Scared to be looking at her up this close no longer hiding. It felt like a dream. Bianca was her dream. She was scared of what she felt which was stronger than her, what she felt in spite of herself.
