Kalemandra's report of yesterday KreAlba Design Fair in Székesfehérvár - The magic of handwork
Yesterday I went to the downtown to sell my jewelry and books. I had a lot of polymer clay fairy talismans with crystals and some book of my 2012 edition of TEReMtÉSZET. These are the last ones of the 1000 copies that were printed 5 years ago in Debrecen, Hungary. Needless to say, this book is my private edition because there wasn't any publisher who was ready to publish my book! In addition, I never advertised it. Nevertheless it became a success story.
I don't have such much luck with my jewelry. Where have I made a mistake? Marketing? Yes! Installation? Yes! Definition of prices? Maybe too cheap?!!! 2000 Hungarian Forint is less, than 8 USD. Material costs 2.5-3.5 USD/pendants. I need to rise my prices!

This girl is selling her fused glass jewelry. She said she used a microwave oven to melt glass! I thought it was a joke, hahaha! But she has a gadget, that she puts in the oven, so that can reach about 800 degrees, that is enough to melt and fuse glass. I found that gadget in AliExpress, it has a ridiculously low price!

This is another beautiful stuff, dried flowers and dandelion fluff in rasin.
A very nice young couple makes them with much love. They have cost a lot and spent many time experimenting with its technology.
The result is amazing:
3D printed figures and jewelry. 3d printing is becoming more and more popular and printers are getting cheaper (from 400USD).
Fragrant textile pillows stuffed with wheat glume and lavender ensure a calm sleep or supports your wrist at the computer while using mouse.
Textile dolls and paintings for children's room.
This was only a part of the supply. KreAlba Association is a very good initiative for those who are really creative and want to become more familiar in this city.

Love handcraft and looking at it there are so many fascinating shapes and colors and each has there own characteristics. So much talent out there. Nice post beautiful colors :)
