The great sun pumpkin cometh!
It glowed blood red for many moons.
A trick of nature and the threat of life
The seven sisters ride on the back of the bull.
Around this hallowed time of year came a
very bright light from the north east. It has been
written about across the ages by many cultures
of how this event changed the world and
perhaps the solar system.

The great bull of the sky let go a mighty
stream of fire, but this time it was more than
just a light show, for the heavens were
ablaze for a number of days.
Autumn was in the air and winter fast
approaching. Many have gathered their
supplies for the long dark nights, not
knowing how long they would be.

The lake has thawed from the intense forces
and the trees are all ghosts in ashen robes.
It came in like a second sun.

In the blink of an eye many had died
Those that were left tried to help each other
with food to eat, shelter and clothing.
It was dark, so dark and cold.
Word came that a great rock was kicked up
by the bull of the sky, it melted the ice and
flooded the lands, fiery pieces burned the
forests, volcanic upheaval ensued.
Great stones erected over the eons to mark
that time, most have forgotten the fire in the
sky that came down and scared the earth.
Symbols were drawn, stories told and
myths passed on.

Much was lost, but some remembered.
Around six months later came another
wave of space rocks raining down.
The red bull had snorted, the bulls fight and
flight continues.
Remember those who came before.
It's not a matter of if, but when.
The past memories we have about these
events, culminated over time from a
collective amnesia.
Alas, new ways to pass on the ancient traditions.

give me something good to eat''
come from? lol

well done post. I hope a few people will look at that video if it is the one you showed me it was very interesting and a lot of lost knowledge on halloween. Your hale bob picture always did make a nice reflection pic.
