Now I hate you just a little bit... Here I am in the coffee shop thinking about ideas for today's video... Open partiko and here it is what I was going to do lololol grrrrr
Dude, I'm with you on the violence porn thing. A good example is the movie Final Destination. The first one was so epic because of it's psychological impact. The scenario panted is 100% plausible so it's so scary. You leave the theatre feeling totally paranoid for weeks haha. Like with everything popular, they were pushed to make a sequel and number 3. By the third film, it was like watching WWF wrestling with totally unrealistic things happening.
Gremlins is a Christmas movie. Was that Art in the bush that overheard the whole thing? haha. A lot of good picks on your list. Drag Me To Hell is great. I'm a big Sam Raimi fan ever since I watched Evil Dead 2 when I was young. What We Do In The Shadows was great. One I would recommend if you haven't seen it is Slither
Love the list and I've seen most of them. Beast Master spent a lot of time on cable/satelite channels like OnTV or HBO around 1983 or so. Akira Kurosawa made a number of noteworthy movies. Thumbs up!
oh man... beast master is so awesome!! i watched that so many times as a kid. that and flash gordon. in flash gordon i was obsessed with the seen where the prince and flash are on the swampy planet. they play this game of chicken sticking there arms in these holes. on of the holes have an animal that bites you and then you have to cut your arm off. fucking loved that scene as a 10 year old.
and what we do in the shadows.... sooo good!!
