HairShares - A Cause Worth Fighting For !
All you must have heard about the cause for a greater good that is Hairshares, but for those who have not been able to get a glimps of it let me share a few things.
It is a wonderful project started by @nepd with the help of @whaleshare community. It is a cause to support those who are in need of your hair, They can be people with hair problems or those who are losing hair due to chemotherapy, donation of hair even once in your life can be the reason of a smile for someone in need.

So am not going to preach about why you should donate, I am just here to present you with some hair facts In a hope that it might make you think.
Fact 1
Approximately 35 million men and 21 million women suffer from hair loss.
As you all must have known that hair loss is a pretty common thing all over the world, but its solution is not.
Fact 2
Million of people suffer from hair loss as a reaction of chemotherapy for cancer treatment.
This is one situation where the loss of hair is bound to happen.
Fact 3
1 Donation of hair does not makes a wig.
Pantene was able to make and give away 42,000 wigs from 800,000 hair donations since its operation in 2006
Fact 4
The ratio of need of hair vs supply is very low.
As I said I was not going to preach about any thing.
So I am just going to put out some facts regarding hair donation
Fact 1
Hair grows even better when they are cut off, the new heap of the hair are more healthy then the already existing one. So donating the hair kind of replenishes your hair.
Fact 2
Do not donate, if you do not wish to do it for the charity do it for the money as hairshare has raised a ever increasing prize pool of around 100 $ and you can win that amount with your hair donation.

Mrs. @nepd herself donates hair every year.

You are just not donating you hair you will be donating a smile too.

I myself promise Hairshares that I will be donating my hair as soon as it grows this year, I have never done it before, but I personally want to be a part of something which can change somebody's life.
