In honor of International Haiku Poetry Day, I challenge Steemit to spread haiku across our platform!

The original Japanese form is difficult to adapt perfectly into other languages. In English, haiku is a three-line poem generally written in seventeen syllables, with the first line containing five syllables, the second seven, and the third five again. A haiku poet selects the best words to express the intended feeling.
