Haiku: Spring in the Sticks

yellow dust
out of the pine trees
into sinuses


yardwork
raking leaves into piles
the grass breaths again


flying the kite
the string draws taut
upside down again


soap bubbles
each sphere floating
shows our faces


the rope swing
flying over the fence
seeing fields
