Collection of Haikus
I thought I'd share a collection of haiku poems I've written. I enjoy writing haiku so much! I hope you enjoy.
Rain drops on my face
The tears of Heaven falling
I stand in silence
Love is heartbreaking
It costs much more than money
But it is worth it
The world moves forward
Hurtling toward the end
I sit back and wait
Thanksgiving is here
Tryptophan induced napping
Wake up, time for more
Rain drops falling down
Like liquid love on my face
So, I lick my lips
One to another
All the scenes of life are stitched
Your burial shroud
Time continues on
The sun and moon will endure
And I'll still miss you
I long for the words
To seep warmly from my veins
So you can feel me

This is a lovely collection. I'm a tiny little bit of a rookie poet myself, and I love Japanese forms. I love them even more since I've learned about them from another member of the Writer's Block, @dbooster. He's a veritable fountain of knowledge on haiku and other Japanese forms.
