Are Your Habits Controlling You?
If you're anything like most people, you can probably admit that your habits have become habitual over time. This means you are doing things on a day-to-day basis that is not beneficial to your life or that is harmful to your well being. What is the reason for these habits?
For many, their habits begin as a way of coping with life's daily difficulties. Maybe they suffered abuse as a child or experienced domestic violence in their home. These types of events can bring forth feelings of shame and guilt in an individual. As we all know, these emotions can manifest as habits. So if you were to try to run away from something that you fear will make you sick, you would likely do so in a quick and efficient manner.
Habits are the little things that you do automatically without even thinking about it. This is what marketers refer to as "inbound marketing". What this does is drive your subconscious to react in a way that will help you make more sales. So instead of running away from your fears, which are hindering you from making more money, you are urged to face them head on and conquer them. In addition to helping you generate more money, overcoming your habits also helps you feel better about yourself so you can live a more enjoyable life.
One habit that is very common among individuals who want to lose weight is their inability to reduce calories. It may seem like a small thing, but it is a habit that can be very detrimental to your life. As a matter of fact, when you eat too much and gain weight, your brain signals your body to consume more food so your body must compensate by adding weight to itself. In addition to this, the more weight you gain, the harder it is to lose it.
One way to overcome this problem is to exercise more often. You can do this by doing light workouts three times a week and then following it up with moderate exercises for the remaining time. For example, you can increase your jogging speed to three miles per hour. After doing this for two weeks, you should increase it to five miles per hour. By doing this, you will have effectively increased your physical output which will motivate you to continue with your rigorous exercises.
Another habit that needs to be conquered is your fear of failure. Many people are afraid of the world and especially of losing their jobs. When someone tries to tell them that they cannot become successful because they have bad habits, these individuals tend to avoid their problems and spend their time living in fantasy worlds instead of taking steps to improve themselves. In order to help you answer the question "Am I Am Controlling You?" you need to first accept that you have habits controlling you rather than the other way around.
