Gutting old farm house
I now have the new cross support beam in to take the bounce out of the floor in the back of the house. I secured the beam with hurricane braces. I have cut out and framed the new opening for the stairs to the basement. The old stairs ran counter to the supports causing much of the issues with the floor.
My next step is to re-support the front of the house. Unfortunately it is a crawl space and I'm not to fond of enclosed spaces, so pray for me. I will keep u all updated on my progress.
