#3D Weapons of Mass Destruction

Over 1,600 people were #murdered by sharp objects in the US last year.

There is a rumour going around, that someone is planning to release files to allow people to #3DPrint set squares that could be used to kill people.

These 3D files will allow unlicensed people, who have had no background checks and could be mentally ill, to print these lethal instruments. Furthermore, these instruments have no unique ID etched into them, so they can not be traced.

How Do We Stop This?

What is everyone's stance on this new age of #3Dprinting #WMD's? How can we stop people from printing set squares?

Should we get tough with offenders with a compulsory 5-year-long #jail term for anyone caught in possession of 3D printed sharp objects? Think of all the lives that could be saved.
